EU conversion and drive unit restoration

This car, imported from the USA, came in for conversion to European standards and key programming. A full diagnostic check found a coolant leak in the rear drive unit. Although the leak had not yet caused a drive unit failure, we decided to fully restore the drive unit to prevent one.

Tesla Model X Long Range 2020

Battery

High voltage battery pack repair

We found a fault in the high voltage battery pack. At the customer's request we repaired only the damaged modules instead of replacing the whole pack. We also replaced the coolant heater, which no longer worked properly under load.

High voltage battery pack restoration

Customers are often told that the battery will have to be replaced. Diagnostics showed the cause of the fault, and the pack was taken apart and restored. During the work we also checked and fixed the spots that could have caused problems in the future.

SRS control module restoration

After an accident in which the airbags deployed, the SRS control module was restored and is fully functional again. The module was sent to us, so the car did not need to come in.

The fast charging system was adapted so the car charges quickly and efficiently both at public fast charging stations and on the Tesla Supercharger network.

Driver door handle repair

Model S door handles are sensitive to cold and moisture. We diagnosed and fixed the driver door handle fault: the handle extends again and works perfectly.
