Tesla high voltage battery module repair

Tesla battery repair

High voltage battery diagnostics, module repair and pack restoration. Often it is enough to repair one or a few modules instead of replacing the whole pack.

High voltage batteries

A battery fault does not always mean the whole pack has to be replaced. First we find out exactly what failed, why it happened and what condition the rest of the system is in. Only then do we propose a solution: repair the damaged modules, restore the pack or replace the component with a new one.

Most of our experience is with Tesla Model S and Model X battery packs (V1.0-V2.0). For Model 3 and Model Y batteries we run diagnostics and help you decide on the best solution.

  • High voltage battery diagnostics and fault finding
  • Pack disassembly, identification and repair of the damaged module
  • Module balancing and testing after repair
  • Thermal test before and after the work
  • Replacement of the coolant heater and other pack components

When to have the battery checked

Battery warnings

High voltage battery errors on the screen or reduced power.

Isolation fault

The car will not charge or drive. A common cause is moisture or water in the pack.

Reduced range

Range drops faster than usual and module voltages differ.

Battery does not heat up

Slow charging and poor heating in winter. The coolant heater may be faulty.

How the work is done

We always agree on the scope, price and timing before starting.

  1. 01

    Diagnostics

We read the BMS data and check the insulation and the voltage of every module.

  2. 02

    Finding the fault

We take the pack apart and find which module or component failed and why.

  3. 03

    Repair

We repair or replace only the damaged modules and fix any risky spots.

  4. 04

    Balancing and testing

We balance the pack and run a thermal test before and after the work.

How we find the damaged module

A pack is made up of modules. During diagnostics we compare the voltage and behaviour under load of each module: most often the problem is in one or a few modules, not the whole pack.

High voltage battery pack repair

We found a fault in the high voltage battery pack. At the customer's request we repaired only the damaged modules instead of replacing the whole pack. We also replaced the coolant heater, which no longer worked properly under load.

High voltage battery pack restoration

Customers are often told that the battery will have to be replaced. Diagnostics showed the cause of the fault, and the pack was taken apart and restored. During the work we also checked and fixed the spots that could have caused problems in the future.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions Tesla owners ask us most often.

Does the whole battery pack always need replacing?

No. Often one or a few modules fail, or a pack component such as the coolant heater. In that case we repair only what failed, then balance and test the pack. Replacing the whole pack makes sense when many modules are damaged.

How much does a Tesla battery repair cost?

The price depends on the model, the fault and what the diagnostics show, so we do not publish fixed prices. Ask us by phone on +370 691 48300 or by email at everaltsolutions@gmail.com - we always agree on the scope and price before starting work.

How long does a battery repair take?

Every job is different: the time depends on the fault, the diagnostic results and parts. We can give you a rough estimate by phone or email and an exact one after diagnostics.

Which models do you work on?

Most of our experience is with Tesla Model S and Model X high voltage battery packs (V1.0-V2.0). For Model 3 and Model Y batteries we run diagnostics.

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes, we provide a warranty on the work we do. We explain the terms for each specific job when we agree on the repair.

Is your Tesla showing errors or broken down?

Call us or book your car in for diagnostics. Before starting any work we always agree on the scope, price and timing.
